Keeping burglars out of your home: harder than it seems!
This article will most likely prompt you to take a closer, more critical look at the quality of the entrance door to your house. So, without a further ado, here are tips to make your home more burglar resistant.
The fact is that most of them, especially in typical suburban homes, are not that hard to break down at all! Especially if one robs other people’s homes for a living.
See how easy it is?
Stunned? Well, you should be – it’s very unlikely that anybody noticed that guy break in, which means he had sufficient time to rummage through the house, grab any valuables and run off.
If the owner of the house had chosen a sturdier door, chances are that the thieves would either have picked an easier target or attracted a lot more attention trying to break in.
For a property to be well-protected, a home alarm (Ad) needs to be complemented by a sturdy set of doors and windows. Otherwise, you may find your house robbed regardless.
Sometimes a proper door is better than video surveillance
Many homes have, shall I say, “symbolic” doors that make breaking and entering silly easy. For some reason, people tend to think that a home alarm provides sufficient protection from burglars.
Well, here’s the sad truth – it doesn’t. It is entirely possible for your valuables to be spirited away within the short span of time between thieves breaking in (and the alarm going off) and the police arriving.
Still don’t believe me? Well, watch how fast these thieves can break in:
They got inside in a matter of seconds!
For burglars who operate with this kind of speed and efficiency, several minutes is all they need. And if you don’t even have an alarm installed… need I go on?
In other words, give the outside of your house a closer look and think about investing in proper doors and windows that can hold for at least some time! You’ll be thankful that you did.

See how secure that door was! Now, that what I’m talking about!
