Firstly, You never know if or when your attacker might hit you, so you always need to be prepared. With that in mind, it’s always best to keep your distance if you see someone approaching you.
In fact, street fighting is all about the element of surprise. You don’t know what the other person’s intentions are. Maybe they just want to talk and get you riled up, or maybe they want to hit you.
So, always be ready to fight.
You don’t know what the person is thinking, if he has a weapon and what his intentions are. It’s all about awareness in the present moment.
Never underestimate an opponent in a street fight:
So, the last thing you want to be doing is underestimating someone because you never know when they might surprise you.
The most important thing to remember about street fights is to avoid them as much as possible.
Since they are rarely fair and quite dangerous since you never know what the other person’s intentions are, it’s best to just avoid them.
Remember, self-defense isn’t about showing your techniques, it’s about being smart so you can escape any situation with minimal to no injury. So, that means to avoid being put in a situation where you have to fight.
