Self Defense against Weapon Attacks

Discover an important topic of self defense

In this article, we make you discover a tutorial video unlocking the ways you can protect yourself and learn self defense against weapon attacks.

When people often think about weapons when it comes to attacks, they often think about knives or guns. Although these are probably the most common weapons used in fights, they’re not the only ones.

For example, if you’re in a deserted alley and you come across an attacker, the most common weapons in this scenario would be either a knife, baseball bat, a metal pole or in some cases even a gun.

That being said, the environment of where the attack usually takes place has a huge impact on the weapons that the attacker will use. It’s rare that you will come across an attacker with a gun in a busy environment, but it’s not impossible.

With that in mind, when you’re training for self-defense, you need to be prepared for the different weapons you might come across.

If you’re only learning self-defense tips against an attacker with a knife, then what will you do when your attacker actually has a crow bar? Or a baseball bat?

What if he’s coming at you with an axe; are you prepared for that?

You can’t predict your attacker’s choice of weapon anymore than you can predict when and where you will be attacked. That’s why it’s crucial for you to practice for all the different types of scenarios.

Learn to defend yourself against weapon attacks

When practicing self-defense, ensure you are training for scenarios where you could be faced with different weapons. That way, if ever you’re in a situation where you’re fighting an attacker, you are prepared for all the different scenarios involving a weapon such as a:

  • Crowbar
  • Wrench
  • Iron bar
  • Baseball bat
  • Screwdriver
  • Hammer
  • Axe
  • Broken beer bottle
  • Iron golf club
  • and more…

Ouch… be prepared because these weapons are extremely dangerous!
